Adam, Rewined’s founder, began making candles using hand cut wine bottle vessels more than a decade ago, and we had the pleasure of designing the original logo, labels, and packaging.
Fast forward 10 years, and Rewined has flourished. As the team reflected on the past and planned for the future, they seized the opportunity to evolve and elevate their products — and doubled down on the things that have always inspired them — great food, wine, cocktails, travel, cooking, entertaining, and time together with friends and family.
At the same time, Rewined sought to expand their audience — and bring longtime customers with them on their evolutionary journey. With the new vision in motion, Adam challenged us to reimagine the brand’s strategy, design, story, and experience — to reflect everywhere they wanted to go and celebrate everywhere they’d been. We also had the charge of creating a system of assets Rewined’s internal team could easily implement across platforms — from labels, packaging, and tradeshow installations to social media and the website.
We created a new, layered logomark, a nod to the care and craftsmanship of the handmade collections and the intersection of people, nature’s abundance, and time well spent together. A collection of graphic elements and an earthy color palette add vibrant energy to the brand’s beautiful, expressive world. Through an array of textures, materials, photography, animation, and distinct verbal and visual languages, we created whole worlds for the parent Rewined brand and each of their six collections — all designed to elegantly layer and grow over time.
Our conceptual premise repositioned Rewined as “a fragrant state of mind — a way of savoring and celebrating wine, food, people, seasons, and place through the senses and imagination.” This expansive, sensorial approach gave us the freedom to explore the rich imagery, symbolism, and emotions associated with light, winemaking, great food, drink, travel, entertaining, and discovery.
