BAMO is a collective of designers united by artistry, perspective, and collaboration.
An award-winning practice with projects throughout the US and across the world, they bring together diverse voices and shared expertise to create interiors for hotels and resorts, private and branded residences recognized for their clarity, character, and impact.
We met BAMO at an inflection point in their business. A new generation of leadership — and a 16 year old identity that no longer felt representative of their team, work, and future. We set out to create a fresh, timeless identity, story, and website that positions them for their next chapter — and celebrates their innovative global projects and the people devoted to bringing them to life.
The reimagined brand identity serves as the foundation for the company’s digital platforms.
Using an array of flexible components, animation, photography, and a reimagined identity system, we created a dynamic showcase of BAMO’s innovative global projects and the team that brings them to life. Visitors can effortlessly browse projects, learn about the firm’s process and culture, read the latest news, and inquire about new collaborations.
A primary mark is a beautiful container for the letterforms, adding visual interest and flexibility to the system. Hues of black, beige, and cream provide a neutral, soothing backdrop for their visually stunning projects while pops of coral infuse vibrancy, depth, and energy.
A robust copywriting exercise, inspired by the company’s freshly articulated values, created new and expanded language that defines and celebrates the firm’s capabilities, guiding design principles, and the compelling stories behind every project.
The fresh website, identity, and story are an injection of energy and purpose, more efficiently engaging prospective clients and collaborators, attracting new talent, and reflecting the innovative, evocative projects from a team committed to craft, collaboration, and design excellence.
