Objective / Solution
Smithey Ironware Co. is a premium cast iron cookware line designed to honor the classic style of vintage pieces, but also harness modern technology and processes.
Starting with the name, we set out to build a brand that embodied the characteristics and craftsmanship of the ironware.
The mark is a continuous monoline treatment of a Valley Quail. This graphic approach serves as a nod to Smithey's modern reinterpretation of this classic kitchen tool.
A custom fit insert constructed out of uncoated paper and utilizing emboss and foil printing techniques support the quality behind each Smithey ironware piece.
We designed and developed Smithey's ecommerce site to be a shoppable and informative experience. Opportunities for cast iron education, recipes and Smithey's manufacturing process are used through out the website experience.
Smithey's cast iron cookware has a glassy-smooth surface that is not only naturally non-stick and simple to clean - it is artfully crafted.
